Competency Based Assessment
TheCoursebank LIMS has two assessment engines
Assessor Graded and,
System Graded
Assessor Graded is designed to allow answers to be submitted as written text. Students fill in blank text boxes and sumbit their answers. A designated Assessor marks the students work manually.
System Graded is where a student answers questions that are multiple choice, true/false and multiple answer. Upon completion the system grades their work automatically.
An Administrator in the system has multiple options when setting up an assessment. For example administrators can set a percentage pass mark, set a time limit on each question, set the assessment to present randomly etc.
Each assessment can be configured to lock a student out of the system if they have exceed a number of attempts at an assessment set.
Interactive Activities
Interactive activities are a great way to further engage your students with your online material, even if it's something as boring as Algebra, interactive activities can bring your diagrams and pie charts ALIVE
Automated Certificates
Upon completion, students will have the ability to print their own certificates. Certificates are deliever to the student as a PDF
Levels of Access
There are 3 levels of access with in the system, Student, Assessor and Administrator.
Types of Reports
Reports can be generated with in TheCoursebank system, simply choose what company, individual or group and check their progress of study. Reports can be generated as HTML, PDF, Microsoft Excel or Comma Separated Values
